The catalytic converter was stolen from a blue Honda Jazz parked in a driveway in Victoria Road where it joins Orchard Way in Cogenhoe. This was taken between 19:45 hrs (7:45 pm) on Wednesday 28th July and 09:00 hrs (9:00 am) on Sunday 1st August. To steal the converter, it is necessary to get underneath the car and cut it from the exhaust system.

There has been an attempted burglary at a property in Manor Court where unknown persons have used force to try and enter a property by cutting a hole in the back door. The resident was alerted and the perpetrators made off without gaining entry
