Covid-19 Virus Scam
As the UK's response to the Covid-19 virus continues, Northamptonshire Police is reminding members of the public to be on their guard from those seeking to exploit the situation.
The advice follows an incident in Kettering last week, where a cold-caller knocked at the door of an elderly couple, offering Coronavirus home-testing kits in exchange for their debit card details.

Coronavirus-How Hackers Are Preying on Fears of Covid-19
Security experts say a spike in email scams linked to coronavirus is the worst they have seen in years.
Cyber-criminals are targeting individuals as well as industries, including aerospace, transport, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and insurance.
Phishing emails written in English, French, Italian, Japanese, and Turkish languages have been found.

Hardwater Road, Great Doddington road closure
Northamptonshire Highways are intending on carrying out high friction surfacing works on Hardwater Road, Great Doddington. To carry out these works safely will require that the road is closed for one day on the 13th March between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Burglary - Whiston
There has been a report of a burglary to an outbuilding on Denton Road, Whiston. A white transit van with 2 male passengers was seen in the area at the time of the burglary.
This happened between 1:30pm - 8:00pm on Monday 2nd March 2020.

Burglary - Cogenhoe
There has been a report of a burglary to an outbuilding on Station Road, Cogenhoe whereby suspect(s) have forced entry and stolen various items from within.
This happened between 11:15pm on Wednesday 12th February and 6:15am on Thursday 13th February 2020.

Bird and bat box-making for Cogenhoe Pocket Park
Saturday 15th February at the Scout Hut, Short Lane, 10am to noon.
