We attended York Avenue in Cogenhoe today between 11:10am - 1:00pm to carryout speed checks and discuss local concerns with the community.

There has been a report of 2x further burglaries in Yardley Hastings.
There has been a burglary to an outbuilding on The Square, Yardley Hastings. This happened between 12:00pm on Sunday 23rd August and 12:00pm on Thursday 27th August 2020. Crime number - 20000448293.
This is the second burglary on the Square during this time frame.

Community support Officers from The South Northants Safer Neighbourhood Team have been listening to the concerns that residents in their villages have in relation to vehicles exceeding the speed limits.
We have carried out enforcement survey in Cogenhoe, Old Stratford and Yardley Gobion over the last couple of days. We have recorded the speed of 62 vehicles and two were found to be exceeding the limit.... Read More »

These are the plans for new play area. This project has been made possible through support from the Parish Council and a Biffa Award. Work should commence in the middle of August and be completed by early September. We hope you agree this is going to be a great facility for the children of the village with the over 8's having their own more challenging play area.
