Government lays unitary legislation before Parliament
The document, known as the Northamptonshire Structural Changes Order 2019 (SCO), sets out how the two new unitary authorities will be formed to replace the existing eight councils on 1 April 2021.
The Draft Order will now be considered and debated by both Houses of Parliament and if approved, should become legislation by the end of the year.

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding a theft of a van from the outside a property in Glebe Way by unknown persons by means unknown.
This happened between the hours of 9pm on the 17th and 7am on the 18th October 2019.

Two Men Arrested As Part of Investigation Into Illegal Sheep Butchery
Northamptonshire Police have arrested two men on suspicion of offences linked to its ongoing Operation Stock investigation into incidents of illegal sheep butchery.

Cogenhoe Criminal Damage Crime Ref 19000494059
Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding a criminal damage to a property in Station Road where a window has been smashed by a stone or similar being thrown at it.
This happened between the hours of 11pm on the 15th and 7am on the 16th September 2019.

Road closure - Hardwater Road & Crossing
Hardwater road and crossing are being patched from Monday 19/8 to 3/9/19. The road will be closed during off-peak daytime hours.
