Education

I did my O Levels at Codsall High School, Wolverhampton and followed them with A Levels at Cannock Chase Technical College. From there I went onto study an honours degree in Computer Science at Coventry University.

Occupation/Career

I have been in the IT industry for over 30 years. Myself and my wife have been running our own software consultancy business, Systems HR, for over 15 years. We specialise in the implementation of HR and Payroll systems.

Personal circumstances

I was born in Wolverhampton. After university, my work took me all over the UK and beyond. I first settled and worked in Northampton in 1994, although I moved away for work in 1998 and returned in 2000. I moved to Cogenhoe with my wife in 2005. We have 3 boys all of whom attended our local school.

Background

I was an elected school parent governor who served Cogenhoe Primary school for 6 years. This role I finished when my youngest son left the school for secondary school. I had been interested in all areas of community life and so decided to join the parish council as soon as a space became available.

Interests

Along with my wife, I support my boys with their many hobbies. I am also a keen supporter of my home football team, Wolves, and take in a game when I can. I am well travelled and have been lucky to visit so many places home and abroad.

Why I joined the Council

I think Cogenhoe is a great village and feel very lucky to be able to live here. I hope to be able to help keep it great.
