Easter opening hours and bin collections

Bin collections will go ahead as usual over Easter but South Northamptonshire Council offices will close for Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Residents who usually have their bins emptied on a Friday or Monday will be asked to put their bins out as usual as crews will work the bank holidays to ensure services are unaffected by the Easter break.It is expected additional recycling will be created over Easter as cardboard and tinfoil used to package eggs.. Northamptonshire County Councils Trading Standards Service are warning residents to beware of doorstep fish sellers. Last week homes were called at in the south of the county where residents were duped into buying fish that was incorrectly described and near the end of its use by date.
