Voter registration continues with doorstep campaign

A four week campaign from Friday, 27 October until Monday, 27 November will see electoral canvassers employed by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) visit the homes of 10,160 non-responding properties, to help them confirm or update their details on the electoral register.

Canvassers will be knocking on doors between 9am and 8pm and will be identifiable by high visibility jackets and photographic identification.. Read More »

The Annual General Meeting of the Village Hall Management Committee will be held on Wednesday 15th November 2017 at 7.30 pm at Cogenhoe and Whiston Village Hall. Existing members are required to stand down. Reminder forms are being sent to 14,431 voters across South Northamptonshire urging them to confirm or update their details on the electoral register.

This week is Recycle Week 2017 and South Northamptonshire Council's (SNC) recycling experts will be on the road promoting their green message.

The Parish Council are delighted with the recent renovation of the Village Sign which had been removed for repainting, we hope you agree it is a great improvement? The cost of this was met by a grant from the New Home Bonus Funds that South Northants Council allocates for community benefit.

Following several enquiries from residents, the Parish Council have issued some guidelines to help explain what living in the Conservation Area means, or your legal obligations if you have a tree protection order on a tree within your property. These have been circulated to everyone who lives in the conservation area or who is affected by a tree protection order.
